The idea of Translanguaging

The idea of Translanguaging has attracted a great of debate over its added value (if any). This talk reviews the developments of the idea and clarifies some key arguments. In particular, it focuses on what the idea challenges and the implications for theory as well as practice and the way we think about and analyse language.
